How to Find Your IP Address on Android
Android tucks your Wi‑Fi IP into the network details, while your public IP is a quick browser visit.
Find your public IP
Open Chrome (or any browser) and visit IP Ducky. Your public IP address shows at the top with a copy button — the address the internet actually sees.
Find your private Wi‑Fi IP
Steps vary slightly by manufacturer, but generally:
- Open Settings → Network & internet → Wi‑Fi (or Connections → Wi‑Fi on Samsung).
- Tap your connected network, then the gear/details.
- Read the IP address field (often under "Advanced").
You can also find it under Settings → About phone → Status information → IP address on many devices.
On mobile data
Like iPhones, Android phones on cellular are usually behind CGNAT, so your public IP is shared with other subscribers and changes often. Load IP Ducky on mobile data to see the current one, and keep a private history of your IPs over time.
